Privacy Policy

What I collect

Two things, and only when you hand them over:

• Email signups. Your first name and email address, plus which page you signed up from.
• Contact form. Your name, company, work email, and the details of the brief you send — including whether you ticked the optional marketing opt-in box.

I do not ask for, or store, payment details on this site.

Marketing opt-in

The marketing checkbox on the contact form is unticked by default and is never required to submit a brief. Email signups are opt-in by their nature: submitting the form is your consent to receive the newsletter, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

Cookies and advertising pixels

This site can load the Meta Pixel, the TikTok Pixel, and Google Tag Manager. These are used to measure which content works and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the site.

None of them load until you accept. A banner appears on your first visit; your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any time below.

Your rights (GDPR and CCPA/CPRA)

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data held about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — the "Do not sell or share my info" control above is that opt-out.

Who else sees your data

Form submissions are stored with Supabase, the database provider for this site. Email is sent through an email service provider. Advertising pixels, if you accept them, share browsing events with Meta, TikTok, and Google. I do not sell your data to anyone.

Retention

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to run the working relationship, and no more than three years after the last contact.

Clicking an affiliate link takes you to a retailer that sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. See the Affiliate Disclosure for how those links work.
